About The Global Health & Humanitarian Summit
The Global Health and Humanitarian Summit is an annual conference that brings together humanitarians from all over the world to share and discuss with others what they do as humanitarians. This is a global event where people from all over the world can come to share their knowledge, information, and ideas in order to foster and facilitate open dialogue aimed at promoting active humanitarianism across diverse disciplines and professions.
What We’re Doing To Help
The owner of Outdoor Makeover, Navid Derakhshan, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Emory University. During his time at Emory he became involved in many community volunteer programs. He served as Executive Director of the Global Health and Humanitarian Summit (previously known as the International Medical Volunteerism Conference).
As Executive Director, Navid created this promotional video for the Global Health and Humanitarian Summit. He created a video that serves as an introductory to the structure, purpose, and philosophy of the Global Health and Humanitarian Summit.
